Kudos
We love our clients and our jobs. I cannot express how honored we are, but I love when we get words from clients. I wanted to share some from last week.
Thanks for all of your help. I have NO IDEA how you do all of this....from the creative photos to the sheer volume of photos and then keeping crazy moms like me in line. THANK YOU It was a wonderful, blissful day and you captured it beautifully.

Sarah & Kevin
It's always a treat to be invited back into the life of a family for another wedding. I had the pleasure of shooting these two at Sarah's brother's wedding last year.
Having experienced our shooting style already, Kevin and Sarah fell right into the rhythm of an engagement session. We all had a good time chasing the light from wall to wall and vista to vista. They really wanted to work the city into the background, so we worked the light to make that happen.

Liz & Chris
There are not many people that I would go for this crazy of a weekend, but Liz and Chris are totally worth it. Chelsea and I got onto a plane and flew to New York on Saturday. (I was in Madison till 12:30am, got a little sleep and then went the airport.)
To understand Liz and Chris is hard. They give all of themselves to the rest of the world. Their work and life is about helping and empowering the poor. So even a day focused around them, was more about their family and friends coming together.
The ceremony and reception were held at the Union Theological Seminary.
They had a custom made ceremony that was involving their family and friends. With great moving readings and songs filling the air by the whole crowd, many people were in tears.
We had a great cocktail hour filled with hugs and a general relaxed nature. With the wind blowing we all moved inside to hear some close friends and family give speeches. Each and every person told of the beauty inside of these two. I think given the chance everyone wanted to go up and share their pride in being their friend or family.
We were treated to their favorite food from Tanoreen. Then cannolis brought in from Philadelphia, cupcakes from an amazing baker, and chocolates from JohnandKiras. I know that everyone was stuffed and so happy by the end of the night.
In keeping with their spirit, they requested no gifts and to make donations to: Poverty Initiative. Please feel free to check them out and give them some support.

Sara & Paul
We had a great theme this weekend with couples. Sara and Paul had dated for a little while (no need to give them a hard time.) But the day had finally come. . .
I am glad that they waited as long as they did, because when I witnessed their vows, I heard a couple with soo much love and support for the other. They had already gone through the growing pains of life and marriage and come together. I have no question in my mind that they one of the few couples that found a perfect compliment to the other.
We started the day off with a “reveal” at the Mansion Hill Inn in Madison. We then ventured over to Olbrecht Gardens for some family and couple photos.
We had hoped to have a great outdoor ceremony but the weather and wind was too cold, so we all moved in to the Monnona Terrace.
Eron and I were blessed with a great crowd that danced and had a lot fun. We got to see Sara’s students dance and Paul tear up the floor with his moves.
We got to end the night photographing them as they left under a warm blanket in a carriage, soon to be under the ware sun of Hawaii. Have a great honeymoon and we will see you two soon.

Katie & Graham
It was a lot of fun to be a part of Katie and Graham's day. Their whole clan knows how to spend an entire day having a great time. From the morning, when all the ladies welcomed my presence as their "buddy for a day", to the evening when they all let it all out on the dance floor, it didn't really feel like work to me. BTW, that group could run a clinic on "Vogue-ing".
I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we did creating them.

Andrea & Charles
What a perfect day for a wedding... The girls all got their hair and makeup done at Andrea's parents house... where her sisters and her told a few funny stories about the struggle of one bathroom, three sisters, one brother and parents...
Then the ceremony was at their church Our Lady Of Lourdes, where everyone was so warm and thoughtful...Then the reception at Muskego Lake Country Club.... Four Sisters Floral did a beautiful job on the decor and Simma's perfect Chocolate cake to end a wonderful dinner. I must admit Andrea and Chuck are big troupers as they toughed it out through the attack of bug bites as we took photographs out side...
Happy honey moon and take care,
=-)

Laura & Ed
Well, Ed may be Laura's little pumpkin but Laura is definitely smitten with Ed...
These two are an adorable funny couple and I had a great day photographing them and their family.
After a simple acronym of LOVE for their ceremony in Fox Point... the close family and friends meet at Lake Park Bistro for an amazing lunch by Bartolotta’s.
Then it was off to Heidelberg Park for the German party to begin. Ed and Laura even displayed their sense of teamwork as they sawed a log together, which I am told is tradition.
Happy honeymoon to the love pumpkins...
Thank you for having me as a part of your day.

Elsa & Tim
What a cool weekend. After fighting through traffic for Wisconsin's first home football game, I met up with Elsa and Tim at the Overture Center. They had a beautiful summer wedding on the Rooftop Garden.
I was overjoyed to meet Sunny from Sunny Day Soirees. She is a bride that took her knowledge of weddings at started a planning service from the brides perspective. She and her husband were just fantastic to work with.
Elsa's passion for my work brought me in. I am so honored to have been invited to photograph their wedding. I love that my clients feel so passionately about photography that they give me free will to do whatever I want. They can trust that I can create with them some beautiful images. I can only hope that she will see these images and her dreams come true.
Even though we were under a tight schedule, we always had a lot of fun due to Tim's jokes. He is a great guy that can relax and put a smile on every ones face. I see why Elsa loves him so. Together they find a smile in all that they do.
I hope that they can find some time to relax in Hawaii on their honeymoon.
Smiles and hugs,
